What can be done to reduce this problem?

To reduce the problem of antibiotic resistance, doctors should prescribe the right antibiotic to their patient and to record the patient's intake of antibiotics to prevent them from taking too many or taking too less of their prescription, the patient should also keep in mind about it as well. A patient should not save their antibiotics because if they take them again for another illness it may not be the right type of antibiotic they should take for that illness. Lastly, the patient should take their prescribed antibiotics everyday, in the exact time until the antibiotic runs out.
